Vector Terms of Service
Effective date: August 30, 2026
Last updated: August 30, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Yousef Basem Mohamed Mohamed Abdellatif, an individual trading under the unregistered trade name Yazev, with an address at Apartment 141, Ahmed Kamal Hamdy Street, First Neighborhood, 16th District, Sheikh Zayed City, Giza Governorate, Egypt (“Yazev,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Yazev is a trade name, not a corporation, limited-liability company, or separate legal entity. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Vector web software-as-a-service application at app.vector.yazev.net, the Vector website, AI features, software, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Please read these Terms and the Vector Privacy Policy carefully. By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, purchasing or using the Service, or otherwise indicating your agreement, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use Vector
You must be at least 16 years old to use Vector. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you and supervise your use. You may not use the Service if the law prohibits you from receiving it or if we previously suspended or terminated your access for a serious violation of these Terms.
If you use Vector for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. In that case, “you” includes the organization.
2. What Vector does
Vector is an AI-assisted goal and action tool. It can:
- help you state an active goal;
- ask onboarding questions about your circumstances, resources, constraints, abilities, and preferences;
- generate a concrete next action through the Vance feature;
- let you discuss, question, or recalibrate an action through Origin;
- use your task completions and optional notes to update goal-specific context called State;
- derive potentially durable, cross-goal context called Memory; and
- use semantic matching to retrieve Memory that may be relevant to a particular request.
Vector is designed to assist your thinking, not replace it. You decide whether any generated action is appropriate and whether to act on it.
3. Accounts and account security
You must provide a valid email address, choose an available username, verify your email address, and use a password that satisfies the strength requirements shown during signup. A display name is optional. You may sign in using either your email address or username. Usernames are not secret, and you must not choose a username or display name that impersonates another person, infringes rights, or violates these Terms.
You must protect your password and devices. You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except to the extent caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures. Do not share credentials or allow another person to impersonate you. Tell us promptly at support@yazev.net if you believe your account has been compromised.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate. We may require reasonable identity verification before restoring access, disclosing account data, or processing a deletion request.
The in-Service Erase Vector data control deletes the product content identified in the Privacy Policy, but leaves your authentication account, profile, policy-acceptance record, plan entitlement, usage-meter records, and billing or subscription records active. The separate Delete account control permanently deletes the account and associated active Vector data, subject to the retention exceptions in the Privacy Policy. You must cancel an active subscription before deleting the account so that billing is not left active without an accessible account.
4. Free, early-access, beta, and paid features
Vector currently offers a limited free plan and paid Premium subscriptions. The free plan permits up to three Vance presses and five Origin interactions per UTC calendar day. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC and unused capacity does not carry over. We may use technical records to count usage and prevent duplicate counting or limit evasion.
Premium is advertised as providing unlimited Vance and Origin use while the subscription remains entitled to access. “Unlimited” does not mean unrestricted: reasonable technical, security, safety, anti-abuse, and fair-use controls still apply, and access remains subject to these Terms and Service availability.
We may change features, models, free limits, or plan entitlements over time. We will not charge you without the purchase authorization required by law, and we will show the material paid terms before purchase.
Paid Services
If you purchase a subscription or another paid feature (“Paid Services”):
- the price, currency, billing interval, included features, trial terms, and any usage limits shown at checkout are part of these Terms;
- applicable taxes may be added or included as shown at checkout;
- subscriptions renew automatically for the disclosed billing interval until cancelled;
- you authorize the billing provider to charge the payment method on file at each renewal;
- you must cancel before the next renewal charge to avoid the next billing period; to ensure cancellation is processed in time, submit it at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period;
- you may cancel through Vector’s Account settings or another cancellation method made available by Lemon Squeezy;
- cancellation normally stops renewal but preserves Premium access through the end of the current paid period, unless the checkout terms, a refund, or applicable law require otherwise; and
- deleting your Vector account after cancellation immediately ends your ability to use any remaining paid access and does not itself create a refund right.
Yousef Basem Mohamed Mohamed Abdellatif, trading as Yazev, operates and supplies the Vector Service. For transactions processed through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy is the authorized reseller, merchant of record, and legal seller for that checkout transaction. A purchase processed by Lemon Squeezy is also subject to its Buyer Terms. Lemon Squeezy may collect payment, issue invoices, calculate and remit transaction taxes, process refunds, and handle fraud, disputes, and chargebacks. If there is a conflict about payment processing, taxes, chargebacks, or a Lemon Squeezy refund, Lemon Squeezy’s mandatory buyer terms and applicable law control; these Terms continue to govern access to and use of Vector.
Except where Lemon Squeezy approves a refund, the checkout terms state otherwise, or applicable law requires one, charges are non-refundable and no credit is provided for a partially used billing period. Lemon Squeezy may exercise its own refund authority as merchant of record. Nothing in this section limits a mandatory cooling-off, cancellation, refund, or other consumer right.
We may change future prices with advance notice required by law. A price change will not apply retroactively to a completed one-time purchase. For a subscription, it will apply no earlier than a future renewal after the required notice and consent, if consent is required.
5. License to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, Yazev grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for lawful personal or internal business purposes during the term of your account or subscription.
The license does not transfer ownership of the Service. Except where applicable law does not allow the restriction, you may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, models, prompts, security controls, or non-public components of the Service.
6. Your content
“User Content” means information you submit to or store in Vector, including goals, onboarding answers, Origin messages, task-completion notes, uploaded files, support messages, and other free-form content.
You retain any ownership rights you have in User Content. You grant Yazev a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, format, analyze, generate embeddings and derived context from, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
- provide and personalize the Service at your request;
- maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and support the Service;
- comply with law and enforce these Terms; and
- exercise the other uses described in the Privacy Policy.
This license permits us to use processors such as hosting, database, email, payment, and AI providers for those purposes. It ends when the relevant User Content is deleted from active systems, subject to limited backup, security, legal, and dispute-retention needs described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit User Content and allow the processing described above. Do not upload another person’s confidential, copyrighted, or personal information without authority.
Vector does not require highly sensitive information. Do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, payment-card details, private cryptographic keys, confidential business secrets, protected health information, or special-category personal data unless a Vector feature expressly requests it and provides an appropriate notice or consent mechanism.
7. AI-generated and derived content
The Service uses automated systems to generate tasks, questions, replies, classifications, summaries, confidence scores, semantic embeddings, State, and Memory (“Generated Content”). Generated Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, unsafe, unsuitable, or similar to content generated for someone else.
As between you and Yazev, and to the extent permitted by law, you may use Generated Content produced specifically for you. If Yazev owns any transferable right in that Generated Content, Yazev assigns that right to you. This does not give you rights in the Service, our software or branding, third-party material, or anyone else’s content, and it does not guarantee that Generated Content qualifies for intellectual-property protection.
You must review Generated Content and apply independent judgment before relying on it. You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, omissions, and results.
8. Not professional advice or an emergency service
Vector is a general goal and productivity tool. It is not a doctor, therapist, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, fiduciary, licensed coach, emergency responder, or substitute for a qualified professional. The Service is not designed for diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, regulated advice, or safety-critical decisions.
Do not rely on Vector as the sole basis for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment, education, housing, insurance, credit, or other high-impact decisions. Do not use Vector to make decisions about another person that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
If you or another person may be in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis resource immediately. Vector does not monitor messages in real time and cannot send help.
We do not promise that using Vector will achieve a goal, improve productivity, or produce any particular result.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law, regulation, court order, sanctions, or another person’s rights;
- facilitate violence, self-harm, exploitation, abuse, harassment, discrimination, fraud, deception, or illegal activity;
- exploit or endanger a child or submit child sexual abuse material;
- generate or distribute malware, steal credentials, bypass security, or interfere with systems or networks;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent the source of content;
- collect, infer, disclose, or process personal data without a lawful basis and necessary permissions;
- make eligibility or high-impact decisions about people in areas such as employment, lending, insurance, housing, education, healthcare, or legal services;
- probe, scrape, benchmark at scale, overload, resell, or provide unauthorized automated access to the Service;
- evade limits, authentication, moderation, payment, or other controls;
- use outputs to build or train a competing model or service where prohibited by law or third-party rights; or
- encourage or help anyone do any of the above.
We may investigate suspected abuse and preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect users, Yazev, service providers, or the public, or to comply with law. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how AI processing works, which providers receive data, how long data is retained, and how to exercise privacy rights. By using the Service, you acknowledge that processing described in the Privacy Policy is necessary to operate the features you request.
11. Third-party services and links
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and may link to third-party sites. Those providers may include Supabase, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Resend, Lemon Squeezy, and other providers disclosed at the relevant time.
We are responsible for selecting and configuring our processors as required by law, but we do not control independent third-party services, websites, or buyer terms. Your use of a third-party site or direct transaction with a merchant of record is subject to that third party’s terms and privacy notice.
12. Yazev’s intellectual property
The Service and its software, design, interfaces, prompts, workflows, graphics, logos, trademarks, documentation, and other materials are owned by Yazev or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. “Yazev,” “YZV,” “Vector,” “Vance,” “Origin,” associated logos, and trade dress may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without prior written permission.
If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant Yazev a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation. This does not give us ownership of User Content submitted to use the Service.
13. Service changes, availability, and updates
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to improve or secure the Service, comply with law, manage third-party dependencies, or operate the business. We will provide reasonable notice before a material discontinuation when practicable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.
We may update the web application automatically. Third-party model or infrastructure changes may affect availability, behavior, latency, or Generated Content.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may erase product data or delete your account in settings as described in Section 3.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you materially or repeatedly violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, failed to pay charges, used the Service fraudulently, or if suspension is required by law or a provider. When appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure. We may act immediately for urgent security, safety, fraud, or legal reasons.
After termination, your license ends and you must stop using the Service. Accrued payment obligations and provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute terms, and lawful data retention—will survive.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and Generated Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” Yazev disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, and warranties arising from a course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every device, or free of harmful components; that data will never be lost; or that Generated Content will be correct, unique, safe, or appropriate for you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yazev and its owners, personnel, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data, or use; or the cost of substitute services, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised that such harm was possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Yazev and the parties above for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid Yazev for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- US $100.
These exclusions and limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or violation of mandatory consumer rights.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, if you use the Service for a business or organization, you will defend and indemnify Yazev and its personnel against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful User Content, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This section does not require indemnity for harm caused by Yazev’s own breach, negligence, or misconduct.
18. Copyright and rights complaints
If you believe material available through Vector infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@yazev.net with:
- your name and contact details;
- identification of the protected work or right;
- identification and location of the material at issue;
- a statement explaining why the use is unauthorized; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
We may remove material and may ask for additional information.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and any court jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be waived, the courts located in Cairo, Egypt will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to the Service or these Terms.
Before filing a claim, you and Yazev agree to try in good faith for 30 days to resolve the dispute informally by emailing a written description to support@yazev.net. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a mandatory consumer or regulatory process.
If the law where you live gives you mandatory rights, remedies, governing law, or a local forum, these Terms do not take them away.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations, we will provide additional notice, such as an in-Service message or email, before it takes effect when required by law.
If you do not agree to an updated version, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
21. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Yazev about the Service, except for checkout terms or a written agreement that expressly supplements them. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of the Service, subject to applicable law. No third party is a beneficiary of these Terms unless expressly stated.
Headings are for convenience only. “Including” means “including without limitation.” Electronic notices and records satisfy writing requirements to the extent permitted by law.
